By 2020, it’s estimated that 50 billion devices will be connected to the Internet, thanks to the Internet of Things (IoT). With this growth comes opportunities to foster innovation, especially among tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and executives.
That’s why Cisco is inviting young women to enter the international IoT World Forum (IoTWF) Young Women’s Innovation Grand Challenge, featuring a top prize of $20,000.
Young women, ages 13–18, can submit original solutions that are enabled by IoT technologies. These ideas should better peoples’ lives, create new business opportunities, or increase efficiencies in:
• Education
• Healthcare
• Manufacturing
• Energy
• Retail
• Transportation
• Smart Cities
